Clocking Off Late 13 November Next month we're holding another longitude themed Late. Delve into the re-imagined world of Georgian London with wig-making sessions, live music and a whole host of talks. You can also join the Georgian Navy and explore our exhibitions. Did we mention there'll also be gin?   Science, Art & Empire 18 October Professors Simon Schaffer and Joe Cain will be joining our curators for a day of talks and informal discussions. We're looking at how Cook's voyages of discovery and the Quest for Longitude were driven by British Colonial ambitions, which was inextricably linked to science and trade.
