A Bear Called Paddington

We're celebrating Paddington and his London adventures with a new exhibition and special events! The small, free exhibition opens 14 Nov and there will be a jam-packed family festival with crafts and storytelling on 29 & 30 Nov. The museum is also getting its own life-size Paddington statue designed by Benedict Cumberbatch, as part of The Paddington Trail!

Inspired by our new Sherlock Holmes exhibition, the Museum of London have worked with Christys' Hats, Liberty London and Lovat Mill in Scotland to create a brand new London tweed.
 Find out about the history of tweed and the story of the creation of our very own tweed in this documentary video. You can get your hands on the Museum of London tweed in the our shop, in the form of beautiful deerstalkers and flat caps made by Christys' Hats.
