The annual graphic arts festival has now returned for its seventh year, featuring top emerging illustrators and designers as well as more established names in graphic arts.

Pick Me Up 2016 Events
What’s On
A vibrant programme of events with artists, designers, and illustrators, consisting of talks and debates, daily workshops, demonstrations and games, such as Fashion Illustration with Rookie Mag, clay building with Clay Collective and building typeface with Oliver Long.
Pick Me Up Selects
Featuring international fresh talent from the graphic arts world, specially selected by an industry panel. Each artist has produced new, exclusive work to see and buy. Meet and greet the group at the Select’s Kiosk, where they each take a day to promote their process and create live works.

Offering an insight into their practice and craft, a selection of Collectives, Galleries and Studios take up residence in Pick Me Up. You are invited to browse, talk to the artists and designers, watch new work being made and get involved.
Alan Kitching
A Life in Letterpress is a major retrospective exhibition of Alan Kitching’s life and work will span the six decades he has spent at the forefront of typographical design. His bold, elegant work will be on show along with sketchbooks, proofs, artefacts and equipment from his studio, plus join Alan for regular live demos.
