All About London: Natural History Museum - Sensational Butterflies outdoor exhibition

I'm Luke Brown and I manage the Museum's butterfly house.

I wanted to let you know aboutSensational Butterflies, a family exhibition that explores all four stages of a butterfly's life cycle.

At the glass-fronted hatchery, you may glimpse a butterfly emerging from its pupa - an incredible thing to witness.

You'll also see hundreds of live butterflies flying free around the hothouse.

And, our butterflies aren't the sort you'll see in your garden, they're very different and come from all over the world.

It's especially wonderful to see children enjoying this experience, I know mine loved it.

I hope you will come and get up close and personal with these beautiful and fascinating creatures.

If you do, you are sure to go home with a big smile on your face.
