British theatre's biggest awards show, the Olivier Awards, took place yesterday at a star-studded event at London's Royal Opera House.
It was a big night for Kinky Boots, which scooped three awards including Best Actor in a Musical (Matt Henry), Best Costume Design and Best New Musical. Other winners included Gypsy (4 awards, including Best Actress in a Musical), In The Heights (3 awards, including Best Supporting Actor in a Musical), Nell Gwynn (Best New Comedy),People, Places & Things (Best Actress, Best Sound), and Judi Dench (Best Supporting Actress)--who picked up a record-breaking 8th Olivier Award.
