Celebrating our herd of Asian elephants
This month we're celebrating some of our larger animals at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, our herd of Asian elephants! Earlier this summer we saw the arrival of a baby elephant, named Elizabeth, after HM The Queen. This week we've been to visit Elizabeth to see how she's getting on. Watch our brand new video below.

You can join us for a weekend of elephant fun at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo from 17-18 September 2016. Marking the worldwide Elephant Appreciation Weekend, Elephantastic will give you the chance to get up close and personal to our herd of Asian elephants.

At ZSL London Zoo, our tiger cubs have been exploring their home with mum Melati- look out for an update on our cubs very soon.

SIR DAVID ATTENBOROUGH'S VISIT
Sir David Attenborough joined us earlier this month to mark the official renaming of our Komodo dragon enclosure in his honour. The enclosure was renamed ‘The Attenborough Komodo Dragon House’ in celebration of Sir David Attenborough’s 90th birthday.

Silent Cinema

SILENT CINEMA AT THE ZOO
Grab your blanket and head to ZSL London or ZSL Whipsnade Zoo for an evening of film with a twist. Enjoy some of the best loved films on a giant screen in the heart of the Zoo. And to ensure our animals get a good night's sleep, you'll be given your own headphones.
