V&A's Exhibition Road Quarter - REVEAL Festival
30 June – 7 July 2017
         
To celebrate the opening of the V&A’s Exhibition Road Quarter, the Museum’s largest architectural intervention in the last 100 years, the V&A is staging the REVEAL Festival. Launching with a music and digitally-themed Friday Late on 30 June, and featuring site specific works such as an immersive light experience by Simon Heijdens; performances by Julie Cunningham & Company; and an ambitious new hybrid opera by Anat Ben-David among many other exciting activities and performances. The festival closes with four Fashion in Motion catwalk shows featuring Molly Goddard throughout the day on 7 July.

The Reveal Festival opens on Friday 30 June with a special Friday Late featuring Boiler Room and a Members’ Preview of the V&A Exhibition Road Quarter that day from 10.00 – 17.00.

Join former V&A Artist in Residence Bethan Lloyd Worthington in this practical materials-focussed drawing session. Study and observe objects in the galleries before heading back to the studio to bring your inspiration to life.

Meetings with Remarkable Manuscripts

Part travel book, part detective story, part conversation with the reader, Meetings with Remarkable Manuscripts conveys the fascination and excitement of encountering some of the greatest works of art in our culture. Join recent Wolfson Prize-winning author Christopher de Hamel for a discussion of why medieval manuscripts matter, and journeys these exceptionally precious artefacts have made through time and space.

Solange Azagury-Partridge

Designer Solange Azagury-Partridge is known for her bold and colourful approach to jewellery and interiors, with pieces such as her iconic ‘Hot Lips’ ring featured in the permanent collection of the V&A. Join her in conversation with Claudia Winkleman as she discusses her career and influences over the past 25 years since launching her eponymous brand.
