Whitechapel Gallery - A Summer of Photography, Politics and Identity

Summer Season
There is always something free to see at the Whitechapel Gallery, and this summer we’re delighted to invite you to The Trickle-Down Syndrome, a new commission by artistBenedict Drew, and Curator David Campany’s A Handful of Dust featuring photography after Man Ray and Marcel Duchamp.

Remember to add Saturday 1 July to your diary for Art Night 2017, an unforgettable overnight festival taking place in the gallery and across East London. In July, we also unveil a new work called Mamma Mia! by artist Emma Hart, winner of the Max Mara Art Prize for Women. Q&A: Artists in Conversation and ISelf Collection: Self-Portrait as the Billy Goat continue our commitment to showing rarely seen collections and archives.
