Here is our weekly travel update to help you get around London this weekend, 15-16 July, and also the following week. Most of the network will be open with services running as normal, but please check if any of the following affect you. | |

Events at the London Stadium, Stratford |
|
|
From tomorrow, Friday until Sunday 23 July, the World ParaAthletics Championships are taking place at the London Stadium, Stratford. There may be delays to traffic and local road closures. For more information, please visit tfl.gov.uk/world-athletics |

Trains will not run between Aldgate and Wembley Park while we carry out track and drainage replacement work between Baker Street and Finchley Road.

All weekend there will be no service between Gospel Oak and Barking, while Network Rail carry out major works to enable new, longer trains to run from 2018.
|
On Sunday, trains will not run between the following stations until 10:15, due to Network Rail track work: |
| • | Kensington (Olympia) and Clapham Junction |
| • | Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction |
|
From Monday to Thursday next week, there will be no service between Hackney Downs and Chingford after 22:30, due to Network Rail track work.

There will be no service between the following stations this weekend, due to track work: |
| • | Bank and Canning Town/Canary Wharf |
| • | Tower Gateway and Canning Town |
| • | All Saints and Canary Wharf |
Rail replacement buses will operate, but please note that you will need to touch in when you board the bus. Your card will not be charged.

Bus users may be affected by the following this weekend. While we will try to maintain a good service, buses may be delayed or stop short of their normal destination:
East London - From 21:00 on Friday and Saturday, and 20:00 on Sunday, until the end of each day, Grove Road will be closed between Gore Road and Roman Road, and Old Ford Road between Mace Street and St Stephen's Road. This is due to an event.
Central London - From 08:00 until midday on Saturday, Whitehall will be closed in both directions between Parliament Square and Trafalgar Square. This is for a ceremonial event.
City of London - From 06:00 until midday on Saturday, there will be westbound lane restrictions on Lower Thames Street between Harp Lane and Pudding Lane. This is for utility works.
Central London - From 08:00 until 16:00 on Saturday and Sunday, and during the same times each weekend until 6 August, there will be westbound lane restrictions on High Holborn at the junction of Endell Street. This is for a crane operation.
Central London - From midday until 16:00 on Sunday, there will be delays to traffic and road closures on Whitehall, Whitehall Place and Parliament Square. This is for a demonstration.
Clerkenwell - From 15:30 until 18:00 on Saturday, there will be road closures on Clerkenwell Road, Rosebery Avenue and Farringdon Road. Local roads in the vicinity will also be closed from 06:00. This is for a procession.
