Here is our weekly travel update to help you get around London this bank holiday weekend, 5 - 7 May, and also the following week. Most of the network will be open with services running as normal, but please check if any of the following affect you. | |

On Sunday 6 May, due to Network Rail track works, there will be no service between Stonebridge Park and Harrow & Wealdstone

From Saturday 5 until Monday 7 May, trains will not stop at Whitechapel, due to Crossrail construction work.
On Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 May, there will be no service between New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace/West Croydon, due to Network Rail track and infrastructure work.

On Sunday 6 May, there will be no service between: |
| • | Harrow & Wealdstone and Queen’s Park, due to Network Rail track work |
| • | Romford and Upminster, due to Network Rail infrastructure work |
| • | South Tottenham and Barking until 12:00, due to Network Rail track work |
| • | Surrey Quays and New Cross after 20:45, due to Crossrail construction work |
| • | Highbury & Islington and Shadwell after 21:15, due to Crossrail construction work |

From Tuesday 8 to Thursday 10 May, there will be no service between Sydenham and West Croydon after 22:30, due to Network Rail track work.

Bus users may be affected by the following this weekend. While we will try to maintain a good service, buses may be delayed, diverted or stop short of their normal destination:
Oxford Street - Until 19:00 on Thursday 31 May, Oxford Street between Tottenham Court Road (St Giles Circus) and Rathbone Place will be reduced to a single lane in both directions, due to a new development.
Central London - Until 05:00 on Saturday 12 May, there will be various closures and restrictions in place at Bayswater Road between Lancaster Terrace and Clarendon Place, due to road resurfacing works.
Twickenham - From 10:00 until 19:00 on Saturday 5 May, roads around the stadium will be busier than usual, including Chertsey Road and all roads leading to Twickenham Station. London Road, Whitton Road and Rugby Road will be closed during this time and diversions will be in place in the area. This is for an event.
Parliament Square - From 13:00 until 17:00 on Saturday 5 May, roads to and from Parliament Square will be disrupted, including Long Acre, Charing Cross Road, St Martins Place, Trafalgar Square and Whitehall, due to a demonstration.
Wembley - From 14:30 until 21:30 on Saturday 5 May, roads around the stadium will be busier than usual, including A406, A1, A40, Harrow Road and Wembley High Road. This is for an event.
Whitehall - From 11:00 until 17:00 on Sunday 6 May, roads near Whitehall will be disrupted, due to a demonstration.
Westminster - From 13:30 until 17:00 on Sunday 6 May, roads in the Westminster area, including Park Lane, Piccadilly St James St, Pall Mall and Trafalgar Square will be disrupted, due to a demonstration.
