British Museum Families - Welcome back families!

Seven musicians, each clad in a jama with patkas tied around the waists and wearing turbans, holding Pahari horns with long pipes known as turhi, Jasrota, India.

October marks the return of our popular families programming, including the Families Desk, Ford Centre for Young Visitors and our Museum explorer trails and activity backpacks.

We also have a diverse and engaging programme for families over the October half-term which includes art and craft workshops, storytelling, re-enactments and digital workshops, collectively exploring popular themes related to Egypt, Roman Britain, Japan and Greece.

We look forward to welcoming families back to the Museum this month!

All the best,
