This July at the British Museum sees a packed programme of family fun and discovery, with something for everyone.

Check out our amazing Festival of Archaeology at the Museum on 16 July, full of activities for all the family, or our popular Little Feet sessions for under 5s.

Desire, love, identity – an LGBTQ tour of the British Museum

Gallery tour

Join our volunteer-led tour and discover a fascinating selection of objects with LGBTQ connections. The tour ranges from the ancient world to the present day and includes some of the most famous artworks on display.
