FASHION HUB WEEKEND    Opening Keynote: The Architecture Of Fashion Friday 28 October, 19.30 – 20.30 Body architect, artist and futurist Lucy McRae explores the transformation of the human body via technology and fashion speculating on future existence.  Bookers for this talk are welcome to join us for a drinks reception in the museum’s atrium from 18.30.   Julie Bishop Keynote: The Politics of Dress Saturday 29 October, 18.30 – 20.00 Join Honourable Julie Bishop, Chancellor of the Australian National University, to discuss the power of fashion to shape identities and build geopolitical ties.   Art & Fashion Sunday 30 October, 14.00 – 15.00 The relationship between art and fashion receives an ultra-contemporary re-examination in this panel moderated by Dr Gene Sherman (SCCI Founder).

ARCHITECTURE HUB WEEKEND    Opening Keynote: MMXX: Australian Architecture Friday 4 November, 18.00 – 19.00 Professor Cameron Bruhn introduces us to Australia’s transformation into an architectural destination over the past twenty years.   Design For Difference Saturday 5 November, 17.00 – 18.00 How can architects shape social change? Join a conversation to investigate how Australian architects embrace the experimental and the inventive.   Designers, Artists and Artisans Sunday 6 November, 16.00 – 17.00 In this closing panel, celebrate the built environment as the work of many hands and new forms of collaboration across art, industrial design, film, textiles and beyond.
