The Enchanted Cinema

Sundays 12 and 26 November

Enjoy an interactive cinema experience with your family this winter. Using instruments, hands and voices, help create the soundtrack to much-loved animated films Where the Wild Things Are, My Neighbour Totoro and The Snowman.

Curl Power Workshop

Sunday 5 November, 11am – 1pm

Join stylist Charlotte Mensah for a curl masterclass perfect for parents and those new to styling. Charlotte will provide tips and advice to manage afro and mixed heritage textured hair and kid’s curls.

Family Craft Saturdays

Every Saturday, 2 – 4pm

Make something crafty at these free and fun sessions run by our wonderful volunteers. This month you can celebrate Mexico’s Day of the Dead, and get creative with tea and autumn leaves.

Digital Artist in Residence

Marie Smith, Digital Artist in Residence, has created a visual response to Anna Atkins’ photography and the cyanotype process that she is known for. 

Marie’s cyanotypes feature photos from the Horniman Nature Trail and Gardens, alongside plants and leaves found during her walks.

Diwali Family Day | Sunday 19 November

Celebrate the Festival of Lights with our friends in Hoxton! The free family Diwali celebrations will see the return of artist PiNS for Patchy Rangoli activities and Bollywood Magic for dance workshops, plus Diya lamp painting and enchanting storytelling for all ages.
