Inspired by the history of the night bus, which is explored in the exhibition Night Shift – London After Dark, little ones can create a mosaic in our creative make and take workshops and be entertained with a story about a magical bus in our storytime sessions.

Johnston Talk – The Man Who Branded London |

Design lovers will love journalist Simon Garfield’s talk about Edward Johnston, the man who designed the iconic Johnston typeface which can still be seen across the transport network today in an adapted form. This talk is part of a series of events to celebrate the 100th anniversary of this world-famous Underground font.

Dinosaurs: Monster Families at Horniman Museum and Gardens |

13 February to 30 October 2016 Discover how dinosaurs looked after their eggs, nests and babies in this interactive family exhibition at the Horniman Museum. Meet a near-complete skeleton of a dinosaur hatchling, nick-named ‘Baby Louie’, and come face-to-face with a relative of the mighty T-rex. Visitors can also see a fossilised egg of the extinct Elephant Bird, on loan from Sir David Attenborough's private collection. |
