Moving Museum!
Keep those hands and minds occupied this May Half Term with artist-led workshops helping you turn your fantasies into reality! Wind-up robots, toy cars and string puppets…the Museum is jumping with moving toys. Take a closer look at some of these intriguing objects with practising artists and makers.There’s plenty of free daily activities for you to drop in to, simply ask at the Information Desk for what is on the day you decide to pop by.

This summer, use your imagination to make the V&A Museum of Childhood come to life! In these artist-led Summer Camps you can create films, make giant toy cars and have messy fun creating your own Museum collection. Each camp lasts a maximum of 5 days and is jam-packed full of
performance, creativity and fun from start to finish.

Explore the Museum during this atmospheric late-night performance by Multi-Story Orchestra, as part of the Spitalfields Music Summer Festival. The concert features Gavin Bryar’s deeply moving 'Jesus’ Blood Never Failed Me Yet' and work by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Caroline Shaw.

Scottish Ensemble & Anna Meredith

Join The Scottish Ensemble, the UK’s only professional string orchestra, for a world premiere of Vivaldi’s iconic Four Seasons as you’ve never heard it before. The music intertwines Vivaldi’s original with Anna Meredith’s own writing using cadenzas and electronics alongside visual projections to modernise and digitalise a whole new world for Vivaldi’s well-known work.
