From the catapults of the classic browser game to the silver screen… it’s finally time to learn a little bit more about how and why the Angry Birds came to be so angry.
Set on an island populated only by these tropical, flightless birds, they are the exact opposite of angry – happy, in fact. Their paradise is about to disrupted, however, as they soon learn that they aren’t the only inhabitants any more.
When a swarm of mysterious green piggies descend on the island and disrupt the peace, it’s time for the Angry Birds to step up and figure out what they’re doing here. Will the trio of outsiders: Red, Chuck, and Bomb, step up to the plate and vanquish these piggies once and for all?
Three familiar faces take on the roles of the best-loved characters in the Angry Birds cast, with Jason Sudeikis (Horrible Bosses) as Red, Josh Gad (Frozen) as Chuck, and Danny McBride (Kung Fu Panda 2) as Bomb, while Bill Hader (22 Jump Street) plays Leonard, the King Pig.
