Join us for nature activities, free art and craft, a tour with Mr Horniman and lots more activities. See what's on in May half-term.
Half Term Highlights
Big Wednesdays: Cook and the Kangaroo
Wednesday 1 June, 11.30am-3.30pm
Take part in fun activities to find out more about animals from faraway lands as well as ones in our Animal Walk, and watch our sheep being sheared (limited places, subject to weather conditions). This day is inspired by our Cook and the Kangaroo display in the Natural History Gallery.

Free. Everyone welcome. 
Dinosaurs: Monster Families
Until Sunday 30 October
Discover how dinosaurs looked after their eggs, nests and babies in this fascinating interactive exhibition for all the family featuring life-size skeleton casts, fossilised eggs and more.

Book in advance to avoid the queues or get unlimited entry by becoming a Member.
Family Art Fun
Monday 30 May–Friday 3 June (except Wednesday 1 June)
Make woolly sheep models or bugs and beetles in our free and fabulous craft sessions. Different activities each day, please check Family Art Funon our website.

Search for creepy crawlies and bugs on our Nature Trail, and discover a variety of insect life. Find out more about Minibeast Safari.
