Take part in playful February half-term activities to celebrate our first family exhibition Winnie-the-Pooh: Exploring a Classic! Join making, digital and performance activities for the whole family.

All events are free and drop-in.

Experience a family-friendly exhibition dedicated to a much-loved bear!

Multi-sensory and playful, this exhibition explores the magical world of Winnie-the-Pooh – one of the most adored fictional characters of all time.

The Imagination Station
Saturday 10 – Sunday 18 February,

Come and play in our woodland home. Burrow into a rabbit’s hole, build a house of sticks or climb inside your own den. Curl up with a classic story, or have an imaginary tea party with your friends and family.
Pop-up Performance

Step inside Christopher Robin’s playroom and help create a world where toys come to life and stories unfold.
Digital Kids

Create a photographic silhouette family portrait to take away with you in the style of E.H Shepard’s illustrations.

Make-it: Mini Picture Book

Create your own character and tell their story with illustrator Loretta Schauer. Bring your favourite toy to inspire you.

Indian Spring Festival: Music, Dance and Colour
Sunday 25 February,
11.00 – 17.00

Take part in this free festival of Indian music and dance with performances given by members of the Bhavan Centre of Indian culture, art and heritage.
Giffords Circus at the V&A
Tuesday 13 February, 
11.30, 12.30 & 13.30

This year the much-loved Giffords Circus celebrates the 250th anniversary of circus which happened in London in 1768. Join 1930s vintage style Giffords Circus and be entertained by a dashing strongman, comedy act and a small troupe of merry musicians.

On Saturday from 3 – 24 March and 7 April, enjoy interactive Winnie-the-Pooh storytelling throughout the galleries.
Drop-in Design Weekends
Every Sunday,
10.30 – 17.00

On Sundays from 4 - 25 March and 8 April, create a storybook and see your tale come to life on the page. Make words bounce and climb around your favourite scenes.
Easter Holidays
Friday 30 March – Monday 3 April

Take part in free activities during the Easter holidays and come on a sea-faring adventure
Share your Winnie-the-Pooh family moment
This half-term share your family moments using #WinniethePoohHalfTerm on Instagram for a chance to win a family stay for a weekend in a wonderful cottage in the Ashdown Forest, home of Winnie-the-Pooh and the 100 acre wood.
