Growing Up in London 1930-1960

A series of illustrated talks by Peter Cox based on his book 'Growing Up in London 1930-1960: Memories from Members of the U3A. Drawing on the personal memories of a generation, the talk will open up key moments in their childhood's at a pivotal moment in history.

An exploration of dreams, the unconscious and an imaginary world between sleep and wakefulness. This exhibition plays with the notion that objects come to life when we are not looking, much like our dreams as we fall asleep.
