OVO Energy Tour of Britain |

From 03:00 until 23:00 on Sunday 9 September, Regent Street St James’s (Lower Regent Street) will be closed in both directions for the Tour of Britain. In addition, from 08:00 until 20:00, Regent Street between Oxford Circus and Piccadilly Circus, Piccadilly from Hyde Park Corner (including Piccadilly underpass eastbound), Shaftesbury Avenue westbound, Haymarket, Pall Mall, Cockspur Street, The Mall, Trafalgar Square, Whitehall and approaches, Whitehall Place, Northumberland Avenue and the Strand will all be closed.
From 08:00 until 20:00 Waterloo Bridge and the Strand underpass northbound to Kingsway will be closed to over height vehicles (over 3.6 metres). Over height vehicles will be allowed to continue east along Stamford Street to Blackfriars Bridge. All other vehicles below this height will be able to access the Strand underpass.

Network Rail is carrying out work which will affect some London Overground services next week.
From Tuesday 11 until Thursday 13 September, there will be no service between Hackney Downs and Chingford after 22:30 each evening.

On Saturday 8 September, there will be a reduced service of two trains per hour between Paddington and Heathrow. Trains will not stop at Acton Main Line station. This is due to Crossrail work. |

Bus users may be affected by the following this weekend. While we will try to maintain a good service, buses may be delayed, diverted or stop short of their normal destination:
A13 Lodge Avenue Flyover - From 22:00 on Friday 7 until 05:00 on Monday 10 September, the A13 Lodge Avenue Flyover will be closed westbound. This is to facilitate essential Cadent Gas utility replacement works.
Westminster - From 01:00 until 23:59 on Saturday 8 September, Piccadilly will have phased road closures in both directions between Piccadilly Circus and St James’s Street. From 01:00, Sackville Street, Swallow Street and Vine Street will be closed. From 04:00, Piccadilly, Duke Street, St James’ and Air Street will be closed. All roads will be open by approximately 23:59. This is due to an event.
Westminster - From 11:00 until 23:30 on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 September, concerts will be held in Hyde Park. There will be a closure of Park Lane and the eastbound up slip from Knightsbridge to Hyde Park Corner between 22:00 and 23:00 on Saturday, and between 21:30 and 23:00 on Sunday. West Carriage Drive will be closed from 11:00 on Saturday and from 09:30 on Sunday, while North Carriage Drive and South Carriage Drive will remain closed over the weekend.
Ludgate Hill - From 08:00 on Saturday 8 until 10:00 on Sunday 9 September, Ludgate Hill and St Paul’s Churchyard will be closed in both directions between Ludgate Circus and New Change. This is due to filming.
Wembley Stadium - From 17:00 until 23:59 on Saturday 8 September, pedestrian numbers and traffic levels are expected to increase in the Wembley area. Roads likely to be affected are the A406, A1, A40, Harrow Road, Wembley High Road and roads around the stadium. This is due to an event.
Oval Cricket Ground - From Friday 7 until Tuesday 11 September, The Oval will be hosting a test match from 11:00 until 19:00 each day. Increased traffic and pedestrian levels are expected before and after play.
Waterloo - From Monday 10 until Wednesday 12 September, Waterloo Bridge will be closed from 20:00 until 05:00 each night in both directions. This is to facilitate anti-skid works.

A40 - From 00:01 on Sunday 9 September, the speed limit on the A40 will change to 40mph from Perivale to west of the Target Roundabout. This change is being made for safety reasons. Updated speed limit signs will be in place.
