Bus users may be affected by the following this weekend. While we will try to maintain a good service, buses may be delayed, diverted or stop short of their normal destination:
Westminster - From 12:00 until 18:00 on Thursday 20 September, there will be a series of road closures from Marble Arch and Great Cumberland Place to Richmond Terrace including Oxford Street, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus, Haymarket, Cockspur Street, Trafalgar Square and Whitehall and their approaches. This is due to a procession beginning at 14:00.
Another procession will make its way from Hyde Park to Holland Park Avenue via North Carriage Drive and Bayswater Road westbound. North Carriage Drive will be closed from 14:30, and there will also be a phased road closure of Bayswater Road westbound. Traffic will be held at the Cycle Superhighway on West Carriage Drive and Bayswater Road.
Westminster - From 11:00 until 17:00 on Saturday 22 September, there will be a series of road closures from Hyde Park to Richmond Terrace including Park Lane, Hyde Park Corner, Piccadilly, St James’s Street, Pall Mall, Trafalgar Square and Whitehall and their approaches. This is due to a procession.
Greenwich - From 06:00 on Saturday 22 September until approximately 00:01 the following morning, there will be a series of road closures in Greenwich Town Centre. Greenwich Church Street will have a reverse traffic flow and Greenwich High Road will be closed northbound between Norman Road and Nelson Road. This is due to a car-free event. If you plan to travel into Greenwich this weekend, you can get the DLR to Cutty Sark.
Chelsea - From 08:00 until 17:00 on both Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 September, Chelsea Bridge Road will be closed in both directions at the junction of Ebury Bridge Road. This is due to road resurfacing works.
Wembley Stadium - From 15:00 until 23:59 on Saturday 22 September, traffic levels are expected to increase in the Wembley area as the stadium hosts a boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Alexander Povetkin. Roads likely to be affected include the A406, A1, A40, Harrow Road, Wembley High Road and roads around the stadium. We recommend anyone attending the match to get the Jubilee line or Metropolitan line to Wembley Park.

There will also be lane closures on the outer ring of Chiswick Roundabout and lane one will be closed on the westbound slip road from A4 Great West Road.
