Bus users may be affected by the following this weekend. While we will try to maintain a good service, buses may be delayed, diverted or stop short of their normal destination:
Central London - From 09:00 until 17:00 today, Thursday 26 September, delays are expected outside the Old Bailey Central Criminal Court. This is due to a demonstration.
Central London - From 12:00 until 17:00 today, Thursday 26 September, delays are expected between Trafalgar Square and Richmond Terrace. This is due to a demonstration.
Southwark - From 19:00 on Friday 28 September until 05:00 on Monday 1 October, a contraflow will be in place in both directions on Blackfriars Road at the junction of Southwark Street. This is due to a crane operation.
Westminster - From 02:00 on Saturday 29 September until 23:00 on Sunday 30 September, St Margaret Street and Abingdon Street will be closed in both directions between Millbank Roundabout and Parliament Square. Bus routes 3, 87, N3 and N87 will diverted through Lambeth Palace Road and Westminster Bridge in both directions. All other traffic will be diverted through Marsham Street and Great Smith Street. This is so we can carry out essential carriageway repair and reinstatement works.
Wembley Stadium - From 17:00 until 23:59 on Wednesday 3 October, traffic levels and pedestrian numbers are expected to increase in the area. Roads likely to be affected are the A406, A1, A40, Harrow Road, Wembley High Road and roads around the stadium. This is because Wembley Stadium is hosting the football match between Tottenham and Barcelona. If you are going to the match, we recommend taking the Jubilee line to Wembley Park.
