Easter egg painting

Age: 3+ ( with guidance)
Materials: hard-boiled egg (cooled), painting supplies or felt tips, craft materials

Easter is nearly upon us and for many that means decorating eggs! Using cooled hard-boiled eggs, decorate them using paint or felt tips. If you have any craft materials you could add some 3D features like a pompom nose or pipecleaner ears.

For older children, why not add some food colouring to the water as you cook the eggs to give it a colour?

There are a lot of examples of decorated eggs in the collection, make sure to check them out for inspiration.
