This June, the Londons Garden Trust (LGT) will transform its annual summer fundraising event (previously Open Gardens Squares Weekend, now London Open Gardens) into a live, virtual and interactive show giving ticket holders access to some of London’s most inspirational, normally private, green spaces. Starting at 5.30pm (BST) join us for 90 minutes of discovery, as we explore London’s formal squares, historic allotments, award winning community spaces and wonder at the breath-taking rooftop gardens. The exciting programme* (more details to be announced) will be presented live from a London studio with interactive fun for all the family. Beautifully shot film will also give ticketholders the opportunity to go ‘virtually’ through the gates of some of London’s finest and most interesting, hidden, gardens and hear the stories of some of the people that enjoy, and are responsible for maintaining them. This event is the annual fundraiser for London Gardens Trust whose mission is to celebrate the best of London’s historic landscapes, grow London’s love of outdoors and protect these vital spaces for the benefit of everyone.
