Borough Market - A fresco dining returns to Borough Market

Al fresco dining returns to Borough Market

The waiting is almost over. From next Monday, evenings at Borough Market will once again echo with the atmospheric sounds and smells of talented chefs cooking food, and happy diners tucking into it outdoors. After the Market’s produce traders have packed up for the day, the sheltered but Covid-secure spaces of Three Crown Square and the Borough Market Kitchen will be decked out with carefully distanced tables, and more than 20 restaurants, bars and stalls will begin dishing up a wide range of different cuisines. Booking is absolutely essential – no walk-ins will be available. Visit our website now to find out who is participating and how to book a table.

Juma Kitchen

At Juma Kitchen, self-taught British-Iraqi chef Philip Juma brings traditional Iraqi cuisine to Borough. Expect classic dishes such as fattoush, alongside his signature handmade ‘kubba’: fried and braised stuffed dumplings in a variety of textures, shapes and flavours. Specials include vegan options such as warming bamia okra stew, all made with the finest quality ingredients. All food served is halal.

Brindisa Kitchen Bar

Brindisa Kitchen Bar transports visitors to the lively atmosphere of Spain’s lively market bars. All produce comes from either Brindisa or other Market traders and is cooked in front of you as you sit at the bar. Take your pick of the day’s freshly landed catch from the seafood counter, enjoy charcuterie and bar snacks with a glass of sherry, or tuck into a warming, hearty pulse or game-based dish.
