Three people holding up their MissingMuseum cards
We'd love to hear what you've missed most about visiting museums.

Whether it’s visits with family and friends or discovering extraordinary stories, with museums closed to the public until mid-May, we've really been #MissingMuseums during lockdown.

We want to hear from you! Three ways to get involved:
  1. Add your #MissingMuseums photo to your Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and tag your favourite museum.
  2. Leave a comment about your favourite memory or what you've missed most on one of our #MissingMuseums posts.
  3. Simply tag your favourite museum or your friends and family you miss visiting museums with on one of our #MissingMuseums posts.

Don't forget to use the hashtag #MissingMuseums

IWM London, IWM North, IWM Duxford and Churchill War Rooms will reopen from Wednesday 19 May, with Duxford Outdoors opening from Monday 12 April.

Sergeant O'Byrne from 2nd Platoon, Battle Company, 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade turns away from a dust cloud being created by a Chinook helicopter that is re-supplying the Restrepo Outpost in the Korengal Valley, September 2007.
Tim Hetherington is best known as an award-winning conflict photographer. Join our guest speakers in a free IWM Institute online panel event, in partnership with the University of Leeds, supported by the AHRC, as they explore Hetherington’s approach to recording conflict and his legacy.
