Gryffindor or Slytherin? Pupils get the full Hogwarts experience on first day of new term at Harry Potter Studios

The first day of secondary school was an unforgettable occasion for this group of pupils.
The new year 7 children from Queens’ School in Watford had their first assembly of the school year in the Great Hall, on the set of Harry Potter film studios in Watford. It is the first time a school assembly has taken place there.
An important lesson: teachers from Queen's School, Watford, take the morning assembly in Hogwarts' Great Hall (Picture by Glenn Copus ©)A total of 270 children aged 11 and 12 were given the chance to sit at the long banquet tables where cast members including Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint shot many of their famous scenes.

A spokeswoman for the Studio Tour said: “They were so excited, it was incredible. They could not believe they were sitting somewhere Daniel Radcliffe might have sat.”
