Ilan Volkov Conducts The Royal Philharmonic Ochestra From £16

Ilan Volkov has been hailed as “a conductor of great sensitivity” (The Guardian). He directs the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in Shostakovich's gripping Fifth Symphony, and in music by innovative Russian composer Roslavets. Pianist Ingrid Fliter has been praised for her “winning instinct for the subtleties of rhythm” (The Daily Telegraph), a quality perfectly suited to interpreting Ravel's jazzy Piano Concerto.
This concert at Royal Festival Hall, on London's Southbank, features Roslavets, In the Hours of the New Moon; Ravel, Piano Concerto in G Major; Shostakovich, Symphony No.5 in D Minor.
