Materials: Household objects, pen, paper

The Enlightenment gallery in the Museum shows how, 300 years ago, British people tried to understand the natural and human world by collecting and studying objects.

Create your own Museum at home using household items. Can you group them together into collections? Perhaps you have a group of kitchen objects, brick figures or soft toys?

Write labels for your objects to let visitors to your museum know what they are. You want to include what the object is, where it is from and the date. For example:

A soft toy in the shape of a dog, London, 2016.
