Our building may still be closed but the museum is still open online!

Join us online for Jewish Museum London Live! Bringing the collection to you, Jewish Museum London Live enables you to experience the museum straight from home. 

Participate in live streams, including talks on significant objects from the collection, a weekly quiz on a Friday, a museum family mornings on a Sunday. Plus we are now running Virtual Tours of the museum every other Monday! 

We also have thousands of objects in our online collection for you to explore from home and hundreds of educational resources to enable remote learning.

A Virtual Visit to the Jewish Museum!
7 September @ 3.30pm - 4.15pm 

Explore the highlights of the Jewish museum’s galleries and discover the history of this museum’s collection. From the oldest Hannukah lamp made in Britain to the inspiring story of our WWII Nurses’ Cape, this virtual tour shares highlights from our Judaism, History and Holocaust Galleries.

This tour will be delivered via Zoom and attendees will be emailed the link and details needed to join.

Stories from the Stores!
21 September @ 3.30pm - 4.15pm

Peer behind-the-scenes of the Jewish Museum with this chance to discover important objects from our stores. From photographs of early 20th century lessons at the Jews’ Free School to unique items of Judaica, uncover hidden stories from our stores in this virtual tour.

This tour will be delivered via Zoom and attendees will be emailed the link and details to join.

Extended Object Talk Live : Yom Kippur - Friends and Patrons 
Tuesday 22 September, 3-3.45pm

Join Emma and Eliana from the Learning and Engagement Team for a special extended version of our public object talks. This talk will explore objects from our stores that depict Yom Kippur being celebrated. We will examine the above postcard of soldiers attending a service for Yom Kippur whilst on active duty in 1870 will move through to the 20th century.
