Unravel what makes St James’s special this autumn as we celebrate craft that has stood the test of time. This London Craft Week, you’re invited to take part in the events and exhibitions on offer. Keep reading to unlock the art of craft.

Whether you’re eager to attend a build your own bag event, or see a hat made out of cheese (by a brilliant milliner no less), there is something for everyone taking place across our neighbourhood. With precautions in place to help safeguard your visit, we ask that you simply bring a mask and your sense of curiosity.

If you’d prefer to get involved from afar you’ll be spoilt for choice. Brands such as Berry Bros. & Rudd and Budd London are on hand to keep you entertained. From wine tasting to shirt cutting, their experts will guide you through.

Explore a crafty trail at your own pace

Not sure where to start? We’ve got you covered. The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust has created a self-guided Craft Trail that celebrates the Royal-Warrant holding craftsmanship in St James’s. Leading lights, including Benson & Clegg; D.R. Harris & Co, Floris, Lock & Co. Hatters, Paxton & Whitfield and finally Truefitt & Hill will all be hosting a piece of work by a QEST scholar, allowing you to experience myriad mediums of craft.

300 Objects Exhibition

Once you’ve finished exploring St James’s, take a short walk to Quadrant Arcade on nearby Regent Street for the festival’s largest showcase of craft to date: 300 objects from master craftspeople. Curated by leading figures from the world of craft, including Alice Fisher, Russell Tovey, Bianca Saunders, Martin Brudnizki, Yinka Ilori, and Holly Wood. All objects will also be available to purchase.
