 his autumn, Talawa and Park Theatre will present Archie Maddocks’ A Place for We, which tells the story of London’s changing communities over three very different generations in search of their common heart. Shortlisted for both the Bruntwood Prize and the Alfred Fagon Award, this exciting new piece will be directed by Talawa’s Artistic Director, Michael Buffong and will run at the Park Theatre from Thursday 7 October – Saturday 6 November.

 

Talawa, the UK’s outstanding Black British theatre company, is celebrating its 35th anniversary with a season of work showcasing unmissable established and emerging talent. From expanding community work to exploring new ways for theatre to reach audiences, the ambition of the company has never diminished or wavered.
