T-Shirt: Cult – Culture – Subversion offers a unique insight into the historical and cultural influence of the most ubiquitous, affordable and popular garment of the last 100 years, by collating for the first time some of the most recognisable and wearable designs of the last century. Spanning over 50 years and featuring over 100 rare and ground-breaking examples, the exhibition includes some of the most valuable examples in the world. Highlights include rare surviving pieces from the 1970s by Vivienne Westwood and Malcolm McLaren, era-defining designs from the archives of Katharine Hamnett and contemporary reimaginings from Dior, Moschino and Henry Holland.

	Draw like a Designer Wednesday 4 April | 11:30am or 2pmJoin us on this practical class to learn drawing tricks, design tips based on the Museum’s best-selling books How to Draw Like a Fashion Designer and How to Draw Vintage Fashion. Learn how to create a fashion template, including fashion proportions and how to turn a stick figure into a full figure. Take inspiration from the current exhibition and start to develop your own collection, including complete outfits and seasonal looks. Perfect for budding fashionistas!. For ages 12–16 Super Sketchbooks Thursday 5 April | 10:30am or 2:30pmA fun filled 2-hour workshop designed to inspire and excite a new generation of designers and artists. Led by renowned textile designer and tutor Sarah Campbell, in this two hour session students will use techniques such as collage, sewing, drawing, and colouring to create their own sketchbook from scratch, using found materials, papers, magazines, fabrics, prints and patterns and any other ingredients they can get their hands on. For ages 12–18 Cool Crochet with Katie Friday 6 April | 11:30am or 2pmLed by luxury knitwear designer Katie Jones, this 1.5-hour workshop will teach you the basics of crochet. Aimed at beginners, the class is intended to be a fun and friendly introduction that will give you a basic understanding of the most commonly used stitches and how to change colours. Thursday Late: Fine Cell Work X Daisy de Villeneuve 12 April | 6-8pm Illustrator Daisy de Villeneuve and charity Fine Cell Work have collaborated on a range of cushions and a bag that have been made in prisons across the UK. Not only does this work provide prisoners with a new sense of purpose and money which can be sent to families, but it also establishes a connection with the world beyond bars through the sale of their work. To celebrate this series of collaborations, the Museum will be hosting a talk about the process and inspiration behind the project and how they came to join forces.
