At ZSL Whipsnade Zoo our three endangered Amur tiger cubs, Dmitri, Czar and Makari, received multi-coloured party pinatas in celebration of their first birthday! Instead of sweets, they were stuffed with their favourite meaty treats. Take a peek at their reaction.

At just over two weeks old, Maui, named after an island in Hawaii, is already busy exploring and loves to swim! When he gets too tired he sits and holds onto mum Lara’s back and she helps him swim around the pool!
Malcolm, the first aye aye (a nocturnal primate from Madagascar) to be born at ZSL London Zoo, arrived safely in his new home at Bristol Zoo where he will play an important role in the international breeding programme.
