Draped in Style

June in St James’s is always extra special. Last Saturday, heads were turned at the St James’s London Fashion Week Men’s catwalk show, where global style icons and savvy shoppers alike had a chance to see the latest trailblazing looks under the runway spotlights. The ideal place to treat Dad

With Father’s Day upon us this Sunday, there is nowhere that compares with St James’s for the range of gifts and experiences to celebrate the occasion. There's still plenty of time to pick up a thoughtful surprise from the likes of Jigsaw St James’s Emporium or Ettinger in Fortnum & Mason. Alternatively, visit on the day itself and treat him to a special dining experience from the world class selection of international cuisine such as newly opened Wild Honey or the established Rowley’s, followed by exploring one of the area’s remarkable exhibitions.

Banishing waste, one plate at a time

If you're looking for more must visit eateries, make sure one of the restaurants and cafés committed to The Regent Street and St James's Food Waste Pledge is at the top of your list. The aim of the pledge? To cut food waste in restaurants by 25% by May 2020. Find out more about the innovative network of restaurants taking part, and the philosophy behind it, while also enjoying some one of a kind meals that make every last crumb of the ingredients that go into it delicious.

Look up in St James's

London Festival of Architecture springs to life this month, with events happening throughout the neighbourhood, including a rare look at plans for BAFTA’s Grade II-listed home on Piccadilly. Also look out for Urban Jungle: Boundaries by Nic Monisse at the Smeg store on Regent’s Street St James’s on 20th June. It’s a comedy safari blending stand-up with short documentaries exploring how our lives are shaped by architecture, landscape and urban design.

Discover the full programme of celebrations taking place in St James’s during the festival here.
