Techie Summer Workshops for Families

Discover how technology inspires our favourite toys. Until 1 September, we are inviting all families, young and old, to take part in a hands-on activity with tech-inspired Electro Dough by Tech Will Save Us. Things to do in Notting Hill

Get your walking shoes on and take a stroll in Notting Hill to discover some vibrant and colourful new art installations. The initiatives include a brand-themed mural painted on the outside of our building, commissioned as part of  the Love Kensington + Chelsea Mural Initiative. Ad Music & Jingles Performance
A catchy tune can transform an ad for everything from car insurance to chocolate. The Maconchy Quartet from the Royal College of Music is performing classical music and jingles from TV commercials, past and present. The performance takes part during the Emerge Festival 2019, on 28 September from 6.30pm - 9pm. Book early
Sustainability Workshops
Current and thought provoking, this new workshop will help student groups consider developments in packaging and investigate alternatives to single-use plastics before designing products with environmentalism as their focus. Adapted for KS2 through to higher education. Read more

Home Educators' Day
We are excited to announce our first home educators' day. Join us on 3 September for object handling and learning about consumer history, chocolate product design and get the chance to explore our displays. Arts in Dementia Care
Our new learning resource helps higher education students to develop creative approaches to dementia care. The Arts in Dementia worksheet for self-guided Museum visits introduces social prescribing and discusses the role of arts institutions in community wellbeing. Ideal for groups interested in public health or social care, nursing or occupational therapy.  Read more
