Totally Thames - Check out some of the highlights coming up in the first week of Totally Thames this September

Firing on the Foreshore
Sat 7 Sep | Thames foreshore and Thames path in front of Tate Modern, SE1​ 9JE
Join us at Firing on the Foreshore as objects made from river clay are fired on the foreshore using ancient neolithic methods. You can even make your own pot to be fired at our drop in pot-making Workshop taking place on The Globe Riverstairs at 1pm on Saturday 17 August
In the Footsteps of Mudlarks
Mon 2, Sun 22 & Mon 23 Sep | Millennium Bridge, North Side, EC4V
Who knows what will be found in this session on the foreshore to discover archaeological treasures of the Thames. From smoking pipes, drainpipes, to pottery, bones…there is lots of evidence of London's past to be found.
Illuminated River Walks, Talks, and Boat Tours

Years in the making, the first four bridges of the Illuminated River installation by artist Leo Villereal are now lit up. Join us for a series of tourswalks and boat tourscelebrating this innovative project.
She Grrrowls

Run Softly

The river flows through London’s literary history as it flows through the city’s life. Run Softly by Izzy Inkpen and friends is an outdoor promenade of spoken word pieces re-imagining texts inspired by the Thames.
