Zookeepers at ZSL London and Whipsnade Zoos had a tall task on their hands last week measuring and weighing more than 23,000 animals in our epic annual weigh-in!
The annual weigh-in is an opportunity for keepers to make sure that the animals' heights and weights, recorded throughout the year, are up-to-date and accurate.
Watch penguin chicks, porcupines and lions have their vital statistics recorded at ZSL London Zoo or see bears, lemurs and rhinoceroses step onto the scales at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo. |
