Windsor Christmas Lights Switch on and Lantern Procession - 16th Nov 2019 Saturday 3.00 PM

Windsor's Christmas Light Switch On is a magical event and the town will have a truly festive feel, with community stalls and a live music programme throughout the afternoon.  Entertainment starts at 3:00pm.
A children’s lantern procession will wind its way through Windsor town centre and the afternoon's entertainment culminates with the Switch On ceremony in front of Windsor Castle at 5.30pm.
In addition to the Christmas lights in the streets and shopping centres and the wonderful Christmas tree behind Queen Victoria statue on Castle Hill, visitors can also enjoy the sight of Windsor Castle's Garter Tower illuminations between 16 November and 6 January.
With kind permission from HM The Queen, Windsor Castle's Garter Tower will be illuminated with a specially commissioned presentation featuring images from historical parts of Windsor Castle, Members of the St George's Chapel Choir and Christmas images designed by local school children from Windsor and Eton.
