The Mayor's Thames Festival
The Mayor’s Thames Festival is a two-day celebration of London and its great river with live music, dancing, street arts, river races, art installations and massed choirs.
In 2012 the festival finale is a magical illuminated Night Carnival that winds along the banks of the Thames, followed by a spectacular mid-river fireworks display on the night London bids farewell to the 2012 Games.
It’s going to be incredible - and unmissable – so come down to the river in September and celebrate in grand style!
Check out www.thamesfestival.org to plan your final celebration of the summer.
