Gourmands can savour refined European cuisine amidst the surroundings of a Grade II listed building with a three-course set menu (usually £36.55) at Roux at Parliament Square. Meals begin with starters such as celeriac risotto with Spenwood cheese; or glazed duck hearts with smoked potato and leeks. Next, guests can indulge in the flavours of slow-cooked ox cheek with carrot and white polenta; or purple-sprouting broccoli with leek tarte fine and grilled potatoes. Giving a sweet finish to the dining experience, desserts arrive in the tempting form of white chocolate delice, apple tarte tatin, or a selection of artisan cheese for a £7 supplement. The meal will also be accompanied by a cocktail such as oh l’amour with strawberry Champagne, or green island with chambord, vanilla vodka and crème de menthe (both £12.95).
Customers should note that the menu is subject to change. Roux at Parliament Square will also try to accommodate guests with food allergies and intolerances, if told in advance.

The Merchant

Nestled in the centre of Westminster, the three AA Rosette-awarded Roux at Parliament Square serves contemporary European cuisine in an elegant interior. Developed by Michel Roux Jr and Head Chef Steve Groves, the restaurant specialises in classic British and French dishes cooked with modern techniques, seasonal produce, and presented in stylish form. 
The dining room boasts a mix of period features and modern furnishings, all set in a Georgian Grade II listed building designed by Alfred Waterhouse, the architect of the Natural History Museum. The two-floor venue also features the Roux at The Pembury bar, providing a sophisticated setting for guests to sip drinks with friends. Both small dinners and large events are welcome, with an exclusive private dining library and large banqueting rooms at RICS at Parliament Square both available.
