weekly travel update to help you get around London this weekend, 28/29 March. Most of the network will be open with services running as normal this weekend, but please check if any of the following affect you.

Advance Easter travel information
As part of TfL and Network Rail’s vital investment programmes, improvement works will take place on some of the Tube, rail and road networks during the Easter weekend, 3-6 April. Every day will be different and customers are advised to know their travel options in advance and allow more time for their journeys. London Underground


We are undertaking a comprehensive improvement programme across London’s transport network, including the modernisation of the Tube.

Central line
Trains will not run between Woodford and Epping/Hainault via Grange Hill. This is to allow for track and drainage improvement work at Woodford.

District line
There will be no service between Turnham Green and Richmond to allow for track improvement work at Gunnersbury.

Jubilee line
On Sunday, trains will not run between Waterloo and Finchley Road until 11:00 while we replace the tunnel lining at Bond Street.

Victoria line
On Saturday, there will be no service between Victoria and Brixton while we carry out track improvement work. On Sunday, the closure will be between Warren Street and Brixton.




London Overground


Trains will not run between the following stations:
 Richmond and Willesden Junction (in preparation to accommodate five car trains)
 New Cross Gate and Crystal Palace / West Croydon (due to Network Rail track work and station work at Crystal Palace)
 
On Sunday there will also be no service between the following stations:
 South Tottenham and Barking until 12:00 (due to Network Rail bridge work)
 Camden Road and Stratford (in preparation to accommodate five car trains)

Trams


From Saturday until Sunday 5 April, there will be the following changes to tram services as a result of Croydon town centre improvement work:
 Trams will not run between Sandilands and Reeves Corner in both directions
 There will be no service on line 4
 Trams will not serve Elmers End on Sundays as well as weekday early mornings and evenings





London Buses


A406 North Circular - From 22:00 on Friday until 05:00 on Monday, the A406 North Circular will be closed eastbound between the A1055 Angel Road and the A1009 Hall Lane. This is while we carry out major maintenance work on the Lea Valley Viaduct as part of our Road Modernisation Plan. Buses may be diverted or stop short of their normal destination.

Wembley - On Friday, from 17:00 until 23:30, North Circular (A406), Harrow Road, Wembley High Road and roads around Wembley Stadium are expected to be busy due to an event at the stadium. Buses may be diverted or stop short of their normal destination.

Hounslow - On Sunday, from 11:00 until 18:00, a procession will take place between Hibernia Road and Martindale Road via Staines Road, Wellington Road North and Bath Road. The procession will return back to Hibernia Road via the same route. Buses may be diverted or stop short of their normal destination.

Vauxhall - There are lane closures in place on Vauxhall Bridge Road southbound at the junction of Gillingham Street until 17:00 on Friday. This is due to utility work being carried out on behalf of National Grid. Buses may be diverted or stop short of their normal destination.

Lambeth - There are various lane restrictions in place on Kennington Park Road at the junctions of Clapham Road and Camberwell New Road until late December. Roads


Road users may be affected by the following this weekend:

Santander Cycles


The following docking stations are out of service:
 Cumberland Gate until 08:00 on Monday (for carriageway resurfacing work)
 New Cavendish Street (for construction work)
