Ladybird by Design: Summer events programme House of Illustration 10 July – 27 September 2015

House of Illustration celebrates Ladybird by Design with a programme of public events
From July through September, House of Illustration will be hosting an exciting public programme to tie in with its main gallery exhibition Ladybird by Design, including discussion evenings, in-depth lectures, family workshops and hands-on gallery activities.

Celebrating 100 years since the Ladybird logo was registered in 1915, Ladybird by Design is an exhibition at House of Illustration of over 120 original illustrations from Ladybird books dating from the late 1950s to the early 1970s.

From Tuesday 24 July, visitors will be able to see every Ladybird title in House of Illustration’s south gallery, as well as joining in with family activities or simply relaxing on a bean-bag and reading an old favourite Ladybird.
The exhibition runs until 27 September.
