Tesco to open its first standalone pop-­‐up finest* wine bar in the capital

This summer Londoners will be able to sample an array of award-­‐winning wines from the UK’s largest wine retailer – right in the heart of the capital. On Tuesday 2nd August, Tesco will be opening its first ever pop-­‐up wine bar in London’s Soho.


With 70 wines to choose from, the finest* wine bar will offer one of the most comprehensive collections of quality wine at any bar in London. From sampling their usual tipple to exploring the flavours of the world, the finest* wine bar is sure to offer customers a wine to please all palates.

Experts, wine buyers and Tesco’s very own Master of Wine James Davis, will be on hand to answer questions and provide advice on how to pick the right wines for the important moments in life. From the first date, meeting the in-­‐laws, or that much anticipated night in, to the most drinkable wine for a hot summer’s day, Tesco has the right wine for every occasion. 

Whilst all the wines will be available to purchase by the glass, those wishing to explore different styles can opt for one of the carefully created wine flights. Designed to introduce customers to exciting alternatives that are beyond their usual repertoire, each wine flight will comprise of three glasses for wine lovers to unearth a new favourite variety. The finest* pop-­‐up wine bar will be open to the public from Tuesday 2nd August to Saturday 13th August (inclusive). Spaces are allocated on a first come first serve basis.
