Start the adventure by going Underground
From  6 February major landscaping works will commence at our London site, as part of our preparations for the Centenary commemorations of the foundation of the Royal Air Force in 2018.

Our site will be open, as normal, from 10.00 am daily offering visitors a fantastic day out. However, parking at our site will be heavily restricted. This means that during our most popular days in February, Half Term and weekends, we cannot guarantee parking.

In order to help us, we are asking those of our visitors who can, to leave their cars at home and to travel to us via public transport. Further details can be found on our website.

We would like to apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Taking place in our First World War in the Air Hangar,  take inspiration from the actual aircraft on display and design your own paint scheme.

Airfix Make and Take is aimed at families with children aged 8 and above, for younger children there will be a wooden biplane to assemble and decorate.

As an added bonus the Museum will be offering participants 10% discount on model kits from the souvenir shop so you can continue the fun at home!
