Brand new to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo! This month, we’re are delighted to share some exciting news from ZSL Whipsnade Zoo with you. The Zoo's largest residents are set to pack their trunks and move into a brand new home as we unveil our £2 million Centre for Elephant Care this Easter. The cutting-edge facility will provide maximum comfort for the herd, including eight-month-old calf Elizabeth, and includes dimming lights to replicate dusk and dawn, as well as timed feeding pods. Not only this but the Zoo is set to get tails wagging with the arrival of a pack of endangered African hunting dogs, who are also moving into a new exhibit that has been specifically designed for them. Make sure that you come and get to know all five members of the pack this Easter!

Nicknamed Beanie by her keepers, the young grey and black female is being hand-reared and has been keeping a firm grip on her keepers' shoulders!
