| International Women's Day: 8 March |
On 8 March we will be celebrating International Women's Day with a special screening of the documentary 'The Secret Spitfires' which examines how the women of Salisbury kept the RAF supplied with Spitfires during the Battle of Britain.
This screening is free to attend, and will take place in the Museum's Lecture Theatre at 2 pm. Admission is by ticket only, please reserve your free ticket here. |

| RAF Photographer of the Year |
We will be celebrating the superb achievements of Royal Air Force Photographers by displaying the winning entries of the RAF's 2016 Competition from 17 March in the Museum’s Art Gallery.
Subject categories range from ‘The Operational Experience’, an image that reflects the Royal Air Force conducting vital work on operations or training in support of operations. The ‘Equipment’ category gives photographers the exciting opportunity to display their skill photographing the Service’s world-class equipment.
This exhibition is a visual feast for the eyes. Open daily until 30 September 2017. Admission is free. |

| Wings of Love |
The third in a series of First World War in the Air temporary exhibitions,
‘Wings of Love' will open on 27 March.
The exhibition is inspired by sweetheart brooches from the Museum’s collection which were gifts given typically in the form of regimental badges by airmen to their wives, girlfriends and family members.
Co-curated with local schools and colleges, the exhibition includes original objects and documents from the Museum’s collection as well as the students' own work created in response to the theme.
The exhibition is open daily from 10 am. Admission is free of charge. |

| The Vitality North London Half Marathon: 12 March |
The Vitality North London Half Marathon will be running on Sunday 12 March. As a result the following roads that lead to the Museum will be closed to traffic until 1 pm - Colindale Road, Grahame Park Way and Bunns Lane.
If you are visiting us on 12 March please travel to us on the Northern Line, alighting at Colindale Station.The Museum is a 10 minute walk from the station. |
