Screening of No Estamos Solos (2016) Tuesday 8th October @ 6pm
The General Consulate of Peru in London presents a free screening of No estamos solos (2016), the second of a cycle of three Peruvian horror films, directed by Daniel Rodriguez Risco, and starring Marco Zunino, Zoe Arévalo Barletti, Lucho Cáceres, Jimena Lindo and Fiorella Díaz.
A family, Mateo, Monica and eight year old Sofia, move into a house on the outskirts of Lima. From the first night, the girl is haunted by a terrifying being. These harassments become every time more violent and disturbing, and soon enough will require the presence of a priest, who will try to help without imagining the consequences.
Please note: this film is rated 14 years and over, and is in Spanish with English subtitles.
This is a FREE event.
Screening of Carry On Up The Khyber (1968) Friday 11th October @ 5pm
Set in the Afghan region during the British Raj, the 16th film in the series centres round the reputation of the local garrison regiment, the 3rd Foot and Mouth, for wearing nothing under their kilts. But are the “Devils in Skirts” actually sporting underpants?
The film features the usual Carry On regulars, including Peter Butterworth, who plays Brother Belcher. Following this screening, Peter’s son Tyler will discuss the careers of his father and his mother, impressionist Janet Brown, at 20.00 (separate ticket required, details here).

Advance tickets are £5 - click below to purchase from Ticketlab, or call 020 7840 2200 during office hours to purchase direct from the Museum.

Misty Moon presents; Peter Butterworth & Janet Brown - An Untold Story Friday 11th October @ 8pm
With classic clips and rare photographs from his family’s private collection, Tyler Butterworth relates the extraordinary true story of his father’s war years, his time in the notorious POW camp Stalag Luft III, and early theatrical experiences which directly led to his success as a Carry On star.
Peter’s successful career in film and television ran alongside that of his impressionist wife, Janet Brown. Her career really blossomed in 1979, the year Peter died and also the year Mrs Thatcher became Prime Minister. Using personal photographs and television clips, Tyler will shed light on some of the more personal moments in this shared life of show biz, which culminated in them both individually being given the This Is Your Life treatment, quite possibly a unique accolade for a married couple in any walk of life.

Misty Moon Presents An Evening With The Bad Girls Saturday 12th October @ 7:30pm
Come and spend an evening with the Bad Girls and Misty Moon’s MC Linda Regan.
Bad Girls is a British television drama series that was broadcast on ITV from 1 June 1999 until 20 December 2006. It was created by Maureen Chadwick and Ann McManus of Shed Productions, who initiated the idea of developing a series primarily focusing on the inmates and staff of the fictional women’s prison, Larkhall, located in South London. Following the success of previous series Within These Walls (1974-78) and the Australian-imported Prisoner: Cell Block H (1979-86), both of which screened on ITV, Bad Girls was commissioned by the network and was a realistic, modern portrayal of life in a women’s prison. The series featured a large ensemble cast, including Vicky Alcock, Kika Mirylees and Tracey Wilkinson.

Roger Moore Film Festival - The Sea Wolves (1980) and Fire, Ice & Dynamite (1990) Sunday 13th October @ 1pm
The Roger Moore Film Festival returns with a fabulous double bill.
The Sea Wolves (1980) sees Roger team up with fellow quintessential gentlemen Gregory Peck and David Niven in an operation to stop the Germans sinking British merchant ships during WWII. A wonderful score by Roy Budd soundtracks classic espionage and special forces action.
There is also a Teutonic theme to Fire, Ice & Dynamite (1990). Willy Bogner directs this action comedy and Steffi Graff takes time out from winning Wimbledon to make a cameo appearance. Roger stars as eccentric entrepreneur Sir George Windsor. Debt ridden and ridden with guilt about the rain forest, Sir George fakes his own death and pits his creditors into a sporting contest the likes of which the world has never seen! Fire, Ice & Dynamite does come with a health warning, such is the level of product placement you may feel compelled to book an alpine skiing holiday after viewing.
Rocky Taylor, who used to work as a stunt double for Roger Moore, will be attending, and he will be taking part in a Q&A during the interval.

Advance tickets are £10 - click below to purchase from Billetto, or call 020 7840 2200 during office hours to purchase direct from the Museum.
