That chill in the air means it's almost time for Skate

One of London's favourite winter traditions, Skate at Somerset House with Fortnum & Mason returns in a month's time to celebrate its twentieth edition.

For two months, the Edmond J. Safra Fountain Court will be a festive playground for ice skating, eating, drinking, seasonal shopping and photos beneath the 40ft Christmas tree.

There's still good availability for most dates, but you'd better book fast for December as this is always a busy month on the rink.

Skate and Exhibition All-Nighter

To celebrate 24/7, a timely exhibition examining our non-stop culture, we're keeping the ice rink and gallery open all night long.

One site-wide ticket for £8.00 gets you access to a timed skating slot, and entry to the exhibition before or after your moonlight moment on the ice.

London's first all-night ice skating event is sure to be an unforgettable experience, with drinks and nibbles available from Fortnum's Lodge (open until 2am) and the Skate Lounge, home to the Baileys Treat Bar, open all night.

Plus, there will be Golden Tickets throughout the night – each hour, one lucky skater will have their night upgraded with a special prize.

Skate Lates

Don't miss our late-night DJ sessions featuring a curated line-up of international artists and London's best club nights and radio stations.

This year's rink-side decks welcome Hot Chip's Joe Goddard, Austrian producer salute, Liverpudlian disco-pop trio Stealing Sheep, South London's Hannah Faith, turntablist DJ Yoda, and many more.

There's also multiple-night takeovers from the legendary Rinse FM; Rockers LDN's Caribbean Christmas brings reggae and dancehall; and Somerset House Studios artist Nabihah Iqbal brings her Glory to Sound project to Skate Lates.
